Here we go again............

Some of you may recall our wildfires last year when I had to bug outta my home for 5 days...well my friends that I stayed with last year are now going thru the same hell:

And we have 2 others burning in the state, one in Canon City (close to the Royal Gorge) and another in La Veta.

Anyone know a good rain dance?

Sorry to hear, it seems like we've been getting hit with a lot of rain. The Mississippi is really high. I went down to the Arch last weekend and the road by the river was probably 3 feet under water. I hope you guys get some relief soon.

Be safe when riding up from the south Dustin, there's one in the Canon City area, near Royal Gorge, that could have an effect on your route.

And I wish you could bring some rain with ya.

I was driving up Powers this morning going to work and saw a Chinook helicopter flying towards the fire area. When I got to work I could see a couple of helicopters picking up water and dumping it. There was a lot of smoke where I live this morning (close to research and powers). We live in a desert, these fires are bound to happen. Stay safe.
