Here's mine. Owned since mid-July 2010 and used as a 365 commuter.

Currently at just under 60,000 miles and has been enjoyable so far. This is my 6th bike and definitely the fastest and one of the most capable, but I am struggling with whether to keep it or not.

Either way, great bike and it has about twice as much power as one could ever need :Rockon:

Ok this is what she looks like for now, but ive got a few more mods on the way.
A belly pan and a Yoshi slip on.

After that its going to be internal stuff.

Your bike is one of the best looking FZ1's I've seen!
Just wondering where you got your mirrors from? are they aftermarket or stock for Japan?

I would like those mirrors for my wife's bike.

got those in a bike shop in japan. I do like the design but unfortunately they are really cheap and dont last long.
So im actually not using them anymore

Got some new ones which are better.

Do you find having the mirrors on the handle bars makes it easier to see objects directly behind you? and do you move the handle bars while riding to see something behind you - let me rephrase my question, is it more convenient to be able to move the handle bars to get a different angle in your mirrors to see some thing behind you?
As I find I have to tuck in my elbows to see directly behind me...

Well, its a little easier to adjust being closer, but its still actually harder to see than having them on the fairing.

But I only changed them coz i hate having antennae sticking out of the fairing.

I think for actual view angle, bar end mirrors are better.

Im going to get copperdawgs speed screen which will cover the fairing mirror holes. Im still looking for the best handle bar mounted mirrors.

Unfortunately in Japan the biggest they make (10mm) are the ones i have. NO ONE seems to make them bigger....

How weird is that? :confused0024:

My baby with my wife on..when we go to the beach I put on the givi mini chassis kit to use soft bags..another example of how many thinks you can do with fz1...if I'm tired my wife can drive:you know how easy under 7000rpm this bike is..but for magic when she drive,energies came back to me;-) my wife never had accidents,and I want that never change!!
