FZ09 or '15 FZ1??

I did check out the GSX-S1000F as well, very nice bike. Thinking that it might the better choice, given it's price is not too much more than the '15 FZ leftovers I got prices on from dealers around me (upstate NY).
 
I think a used FZ1 is some of the best value for money in a street bike right now. I don't think an 'as priced' 2015 can really compete with all the new & updated competition out there today.

You can get your hands a nice, hardly ridden gen 2 for under $4500 in the USA and it's hard to argue with that much power & performance for so little money.
