Sorry I missed this one, it looks like you guys had much fun! The food looked good too, lol.
Unfortunately for me, it looks like the FZ is getting put away for winter this weekend. It will be 2014 when I will be able to on a Bear Mtn. run.

Ugh, you think I am happy about it?! The way my schedule is working out, it has to be this weekend or wait another month. And, I am really stubborn about having her tucked away before any salt hits the roads. Last year my sv650n was long put away by this time of year, at least that is what I am telling myself to rationalize it being 70 degrees outside while typing to you guys about putting away my FZ.
I am looking forward to meeting you and others, its just going to be a few months....

Road salt? A quick wash + leaf blower! Problem solved! Cold? Heated gear! Problem solved!
Can't blame you for putting her away (especially as pretty as yours is!)
I just can't stand not riding for so long, so mine never gets put away. I don't think I went more than 2 weeks last Winter, without riding!

Heh, definitely something I need to get over, because even now, I know 100% that you are right. It will be the same as last season. About a month after I put it away, I'll have wished I got in just a few more miles.....
I was even this way with my 8-9 year old sv, its going to be a tough habit to break with the <1yr old FZ!
Hopefully this doesn't look like a thread-jack (it is), but here is my sv before I put it away last year. Little did I know at the time, when it came out of storage in March, I was riding it to the Yamaha dealer for the FZ swap! --MW
