frame help asap!!!

Alright so I need a new frame for my 2013 fz1 as it got hit by a car while in the parking lot and has a few Knicks in it and my insurance won't cover it. My biggest question is will I be able to swap an r1 frame for it? If not where the hell can I find a 2013 fz1 frame?! Thanks in advance

Sorry to hear about your accident.

Your insurance company sux, any frame damage here in Australia is a written off bike.

No, a R1 frame will not fit and any frame from a 2006 to present FZ1 will fit.

Try some wreckers around the country or EBay if you are lucky?

What insurance do you have? As far as I know ANY frame damage to ANY bike is written off by ANY insurance company. I'd be calling them again.

IIRC there was a member on FZ1oa giving one away, not long ago

A 'few nicks' in a frame does not mean it is damaged, which is why your insurance company isn't replacing it. Cosmetic reasons don't count.

I'd stay away from '06 and probably '07 frames due to the cracking issue.
