Yea! My weather is finally here! I love the Fall and the 60 degree temps. I'm disappointed that I still haven't gotten out for a ride with Tony this year. I had no choice but to do the unthinkable............Yep, went out Sunday with the "Harley Boys", yes I said it, the Harley Boys! We did an awesome ride just under 200 miles round trip starting in Westchester County and heading northwest into Orange and Rockland. I was pissed because they had Route 218 closed for some ungodly reason so we skipped that part of the trip but made up for it with a new road I tried which worked out great. Smooth as silk two-lane that gently twisted and turned south from Orange County into Greenwood Lake. I'll have to make this a permanent route in my northern loop. We ate at a great lakeside restaurant and headed home on a full stomach. I worked off the burger with a nice jaunt through Route 106 east where I left the hogs to putt around. It was a great day but to be honest, way too slow-paced for me to do every ride. So here's the pics and complimentary video from the day's events.

Up at "The Circle" for a pit stop of hot chocolate and bagels.

This is Bert and MaryAnn. He sells us lumber at work and we've been meaning to get a ride in with him for a while now. He has the Road King which is pretty cool. It runs a big-bore kit and is pretty quick for a hog.

This is me and my "brother from another mother", Sal who I work with. That is the Fatboy that I had the blowout on last year if you remember. I bought him a set of Avon's and threw out the Dunlops.

We stopped at Greenwood Lake to The Emerald Point, a popular bar/restaurant for the "Harley Crowd". The food was great and there was one really "hot" bartender which made lunch a whole lot nicer!

This is how you can tell "real badazz" bikers from the "posers". If you run into a Harley guy wearing his buckle like this LOOK OUT!!! Hahahaha!!

Saddling up lakeside for the ride home. We had a great ride.

Back at the Circle to gas up one last time. There were not one, but two Ducati 1098's sitting there.

And lastly, a quick video from the day's ride......

if that was the first that means there is a second?

Oh you better believe it buddy! I'm on two wheels until it hits a constant 35 degrees or so. Then I'll call it quits for the year. Heck, I didn't even put 3K miles on her yet. I am very disappointed in my mileage since getting the YZF. I definitely haven't ridden much this season.

Man I love threads with pics and videos. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Ken. I love to get the pics and vids up for you guys. I just can't seem to get the video posted so you can see the title frame for some reason. I did everything the way I've always done before but it won't work.

SWEET!! His & Hers!!

Thats what I thought at first Brenda but shortly after snapping the pic here comes another "his" into the equation. Haha!! His and His!

Nice video and photos Billy. Was that your home made rear mount? the bike sounds smooth.

Thats just the regular "flat" mount on the tail of the bike. My fault for using the "open backed" case on the GoPro. It's great for softening the wind noise when the camera is facing forward, but sucks when you turn the camera around backwards. Way too much vibration noise until I got my revs up above 5K. This Sunday I'll use the other mount with the suction cup to see the difference.
