Effect on mpg of aftermarket slip on

Pretty much none...

However, you might not be able to control your right wrist after hearing that sweet sound, in which case your mileage will decrease ;)

My Gen 1 experience has been that mileage, or lack of, is not due to the mechanical components but is directly attributable to the amount of right twist-grip used.

I can get over 50 mpg, if I want to.
