Chain tensioner won't turn

Hi all....
I've got an '03 FZ1. I want to adjust the axel back, I have several more notches to go, but adjusting bolt won't "unscrew"?:looseit:

WHAT GIVES??? Bike is bone stock, but bought used from salvage dealer.

Thanks for your time:cheers:

Assuming that you first backed off the nut that locks the bolt, it could be corrosion built up on the threads. On the Gen 2s the bolt is exposed on the inside of the swingarm and crud can build up there. Try using "fluid film" or "liquid wrench" on the threads and working the bolt back in first.

Hey Earl. Just remember that you don't want to "snap" off that bolt. You'll wind up with a bigger headache having to drill and tap another size bolt. I think if you use the penetrating oil and leave it overnight it should loosen it up. Let us know how it goes. Good luck!
