basically the title explains everything, I want to know if I can buy a PC3 for an R1 and will the connectors fit on a 07 fz1
can i use a PCII from an R1 on a FZ1 07

Completely different throttle bodies. Also the R1 uses a second set of shower injectors.

04-06' R1 PC III will work with the Gen II FZ1 That is the model year(s) engine ours is based upon. You need to erase the R1 map and put in a map created for the FZ1 if you want it to run right.
The part numbers are 420-411 for the FZ1 and 421-411 for the R1. On the other forum, Dek and FazerMonkey have been running 421-411 units without issues.

Im running an R1 PCIII in mine. Plugs right. As stated above, you'll need to load a FZ1 map on instead of an R1 map.

can somebody help me with a map, here is what I'm running
reduced diameter to 38mm on secondary flies, remove the cat, installed a two brothers M2 slip on exhaust, lars air box mod and a K&N air filter

The 410-411 will work. It was just the model number they put out for the '05 R1. You can download the maps here. We have a thread for those. Any FZ1 PCIII map that fits your mods should work. Try several and pick what performs best for your bike.
