They are South America's largest economy and things there have gotten better economically...
And BMW's sales surge has undoubtedly been fueled by the excellent S1000RR and the new K1600GT and GTL sport tourers.

The R800GS is fun to ride. My coworker took his K1300GT in for service and got the 800GS as a loaner for the day.
We took turns flogging it around parking lots, jumping curbs, medians, and other obstacles.
Our conclusion: "the F800GS inspires stupidity".
Every time we did something stupid that neither of us would have done with a "normal" street bike, this thing just seemed to enjoy the abuse.
Ride like mad then park it and run inside before the cops arrive.

If you think that's bad, wait till you ride a motard! Those things turn good riders bad. Even my timid ex was hopping curbs when she borrowed mine for a week
