Employee: (knocks on door)
Me: Yes

Employee: I don't feel good.
Me: Well.

Employee: What?
Me: You don't feel "well."

Employee: I just said that.
Me: No, you said "I don't..." Never mind. What's bothering you

Employee: I'm sick
Me: Then you should see a doctor.

Employee: They said you're the doctor.
Me: (outraged) Who said that?

Employee: Fran, the nurse.
Me: Lookit, she just said that to get rid of you. She's actually the doctor.

Employee: Really?
Me: Yes, of course. What kind of idiot doctor would be posting all day on a motorcycle forum?

Employee: (looks at screen) Hmmm, you have a point.
Me: See, I told you. Now go back to Fran and tell her to have a look at you. (locks door and puts sign on door: "Radioactive Waste Treatment"
 
Funny post Norm. I do feel like that at work sometimes when I get a little break to browse the forum and people come "bother" me.
 
Actually, she's been great, particularly since I expected to be murdered in my sleep after telling her of my 2 week bike extravganza I've planned for September.

It's safe. Saturday I need to deliver something to Boston. If you have absolutely nothing better to do you could ride there with me. We could continue on somewhere from there.
 
Is that all??! Just do whatever, and if you wake up to see the light of the new day, consider yourself lucky and plan your next outing?? :scared:
 
I won't ask. Friend of mine needs a recommendation typed up on my office stationary for Monday. Can't email it for whatever reason.
