Didn't feel like typing the whole thing, but the important part is than the last section under Note states:

"Cap supplied in the package allows you to lower the noise level"

That leads me to believe that the dbkiller is indeed removable like in most other exhausts.
 
It comes with a silencer so you can always quieten it up if need be.

I would love to know how loud it is too, its a beautiful looking can.

Yep, I know how much i have crapped on about these damn things and I still have not bought one yet... and I finally have the money to buy one (and a Penske shock, order goes in after xmas:) ) but I want to make sure I don't buy one thats going to attract the cops...

So I'm just going to wait till after xmas and order a can, and I'm just about decided on the safe option of the Akrapovic... but in Titanium to match the bike as I have a silver motor...

I use my wife to ask what looks better and then I use that, and decide if its functionally and legally correct... So she likes the Akra and thought the Leo Vince looked like the Tin Man's oil can! lol!
 
Oh and I checked out the price of an Akra can, Motovation wants $607us + $98us for snail mail...
I found Carpimoto in italy has it for 453 euro's =$580 aus and waiting on an email for the shipping cost...

The Akra is fairly quiet but it is also really long too.
I cut 80mm off my Akra and it's still not too loud.

The Leo Vince looks like it would be pretty loud as it is a short muffler.
It looks sweet as though.

Yep the length of the Leo Vince is what had me worried...

CarpiMoto emailed me back and I may get one from them... it's the same price even with the exchange rates, but I can get the one from Carpimoto air freighted out in no time at all which may be a more reliable way to prevent any damage in transit. As it's the same price from the US but its going via snail mail...

So looks like its an Akra in Ti next week :) Then I'll also order the Penske...
 
Hey Scotty cant wait to se how it turns out. Depending upon who you order the shock from it will take some time. If you order from Traxxion it take them about two to three weeks to get the shock from penske then they tweak it to what they know of us FZ1 riders likes. They also dont charge you until they ship it to you.

Hay Scotty i have just scored a full S/S R77 Yoshi system off Ebay for US$580. Thats almost half a Akra system for a equal or slightly better performing system?, that leaves a nice saving to pay for your Penske or Ohlins:rmwl:. It is in transit atm but when its here and fitted i will post pics

Nice score! You'll be pleased with the performance and weight savings of the R-77 when compared to the stock system. The Akra does seem to be of higher cosmetic quality, but you can't beat the performance of the Yosh system for the money.

Just ordered one of these titanium ones :D

From www.carpimoto.com in italy for $700au delivered via air freight. Which makes it $250au cheaper than the local retailers...
It won't ship for a few days or so as they are ordering a new one from the suppliers... which is ok as I have a while to wait before I can fit it... :D
Oh and I ordered the centre stand stopper for it too...

I cant find the thread where you guys talked about the bracket to stop the center stand from hitting the muffler, but I did order one but they refunded my money for it, but there is a similar bracket that came with all the bits... last pic here, does it look like the right one? wife took the pics for me...
