Testing Season has started in preparation for the 2025 racing calendar. What are you hoping to see?

For me I want to see a return to a variety of Manufacturers and Riders winning races.

Jorge on the Aprilla means we will see it on the podium more often.

Yamaha seemed to make improvements all season long. Hopefully the new V4 puts them back on top. It is obvious that Fabio is competitive when the bike is not.

I still think 6 Ducati's is two too many. IMO there should be one Factory team and one Satellite team per brand.

Despite all the other woes KTM is experiencing right now they have dedicated to running a full Moto GP program in 2025. I hope that pays off for them.

I predict that MM will take himself and Pecco out of at least one Practice, Qualifying or Race this year.

Riders whom I think should retire from the GP Class - Vinales and Mir.

Mir has been sad all season. Had to be expensive for the team to keep rebuilding after each crash. If Jorge can get the Aprillia to win it will be a testament to his skill.

Vinales was the only non Ducati winner this year and he did it in dominant fashion.
Yep, he is either red hot or very very cold. he was the same at Yamaha and Suzuki.

The Aprilla's are fast, the riders are just not as consistent as Martin or Fabio.

I predict that outside of some growing pains with a new factory Jorge will be consistently at the top on the Aprilla.

Vinale's will continue to blame others for his ON/OFF results.

Binder and Acosta will still finish in the top 10 on the regular and The Beast - who knows how he will adapt to new machinery.

Gonna be a rough year for KTM MotoGP Racing.

Gonna go out on a limb and predict MM will dominate 2025.

Not really a fan of MM but it's hard to deny his talent and when he gets on the #1 Ducati it will take bad luck or injury to scuttle his efforts.

Klurejr makes some good observations about mid pack riders however, I find that I and the camera man don't pay much attention to them during a race. Hopefully Jorge can be the spoiler and we have a tighter season than I'm predicting.

I don't think predicting MM to win 2025 is going out on a limb. He has shown he has speed on the Ducati.

Just because MM is on a GP25 does not mean Pecco will always play second fiddle to MM. Pecco is a really good rider.

It will be interesting to see how MM behaves as a stablemate. He has shown time and again that he is still immature in many ways on the track. Still refusing to admit he played Kingmaker for Lorenzo shows where his head is at.

I’d have to go back and watch the race where MM made Lorenzo King, my addled mind doesn’t remember much of it. Sour grapes racers are nothing new. I tend to watch each race on it’s own merits, but I guess there’s a lot bubbling underneath that I miss.

NASCAR like NFL seems to have intense racer loyalty and aversion….. to the point that people paint Race Car numbers across the front of their homes…..said the guy with the VR46 hat and a yellow popa-smoke.

Other GP racers don’t seem to openly dis-respect MM. Maybe it’s in their GP contracts that they can’t be openly negative.

You almost have to watch the last 3 or 4 races of the season to really get the feel for the situation.

MM was technically out of the Championship running due to a few DNF's during the season and it was a 2 horse race between Rossi and Lorenzo.

In the race in question MM was faster than Rossi, he had faster lap times and could have left Rossi in the dust. Instead he kept slowing down and blocking the racing line. Rossi would pass MM and in a few turns MM had caught him and park in the racing line.

This happened over and over again until Rossi got pissed and pushed MM off the track.

Dorna penalized Rossi by making him start from the back of the grid in the next race - which was the last race of the season.

Lorenzo won the season by 5 points when he had been trailing Rossi leading into the last few races:

No one who is that far outside of the points should be doing anything to the Points leader 2 races from the end of the season.

You don’t have to be on a GP level machine to have a high side with face plant. A little loose gravel will do the trick. The hit Jorge took to his helmet was sobering.
