Nice!!! Are they like NH where only the CC number matters? Michele used to have the one-lung 650 Suzuki S40 Boulevard and her insurance was MORE than my sportbike FZ6 because I was 50cc's less than her. Never mind the HP or class of bike.... What CC is it? Oh! Thanks! Love that the FZ1 is a 998 because the insurance here jumps quite a bit with 1000 or more!
 
I never looked... lol! This bike is 999.6 ?!?!? How's that for cutting it close! So it would be the same yearly cost for me as the FZ1. ;)

You know, as long as the crashes are low this year the price will hold. If it is a GSXR crash fest, I'm toast. The good thing is Aprilias aren't crashed all that often. Owner's tend to be middle aged, and are posers, like me! :nothing:

WTH, that is less than I am paying for my 07 FZ1:embarrased:

So not only are you kicking the crap out of my bike from a performance stand point, but you are paying less for insurance as well. My forehead is now starting to hurt from hitting it against the wall.:banghead:

What insurance company are you going through? I think I need to call them and switch my insurance asap. Seriously I am starting to get a headache now so you need to help me!:ugh:

Congrats Pete,

so far in Croatia I've seen only one NEW Tuono and I got me of my seat when it passed by!!!

Sound?? Is 10 of 10, maybe better with the db killer so you don't have to drink aspirins every time you go for a ride!!!

However they have already some new mod's for it, when I was in Verona(Italy) at the BIKE EXPO SHOW 2012, I saw a kit for the Tuono, that give's you according to them another ~18HP (Akrapovic Full titanium exhaust, racing a/f and racing ECU), the price was 2300 Euros.......However don't now who needs another 18HP on that monster!?!?!

I have Progressive as well but Wisconsin has fairly high rates for Motorcycle insurance. Also I live fairly close to Milwaukee so I am sure that dosen't help either. I actually just switched to Progressive and my rates went down quite a bit.

I rode the BMW S1000RR yesterday and the guy at the BMW dealer said BEEMER is talking about coming out with a Naked version of this bike set up more like the FZ1 or Tuono style. Could be interesting if that happens.

The S1000RR goes like a raped ape and that engine in a naked would be a blast.
