2012 Tuono V4 APRC Ride Review and Porn

I had to plug the external speakers in for the video I needed to hear it better! Great sound looks like a blast to ride thanks for sharing .

I shot that video on a Contour HD. I'd like to find a camera that I can attach true stereo mics.

For the next vid I''ll remove the db Killers and position the camera lower, out of the wind.

Here's a review of the bike from down under. I'd love to have one. I'm glad you are enjoying it. I'll have to stick to my FZ1 for now.

That was an awesome video. I love the end when you passed the cruisers. The Tuono won't let you cruise! :evillaugh:

What is the redline on that? The tach didn't seem to have a red mark I could see. Did the shift lite come on at 8-9k? Is that just for break in? The gauges look very clean and useful. I'm surprised how naked it looks from the cockpit vs how faired it looks from the front and sides. I hope I get a chance to at least ride one someday.

the bike is truly amazing!!!! Makes me wanna sell mine add a couple of thousand euros and buy it........:cry::cry:, but on the other hand It would be very hard for me to let go the FZ1.....so for the time being I'll just enjoy watching it.....

Redline is at 11,500 once the motor has 600 miles on it. Prior to that the ECU has the shift light come on at about 8,500 to 9,000 rpm. When I take it in for it's first service they reset the shift light via the ECU.

I have about 125 miles on her so far. I haven't hammered her hard yet, only gradual roll-ons at about 50 to 75% throttle. With the tour this weekend she'll be ready for the first service next week.

I'll shoot some video this weekend with the db killer out, it has a whole different sound! With the db killer out it's really too loud for me.

I'm still getting used to the bike too. The handling is SO quick, whereas the FZ1 was vary planted, almost lumbering incomparison. No that the FZ1 is slow handling, only that the Tuono is so quick. For a long tour the FZ1 is a better machine with the longer and slower chassis/wheelbase.

That video is spot on too. I'm not sure what he meant about it not being a good bike when in heavy traffic. I find it very easy to ride in traffic, and I like being upright so I can see around traffic easily. The clutch is very smooth, and both the throttle and clutch pull is very light so your hands don't cramp up.
