2012 FZ1 AIS block

Hey guys, last month I got myself a very clean 2012 FZ1 naked with a full yoshinura R-77 exhaust installed. I´m planning to add a PCV and K&N filter. But in the meantime, I would like to block the AIS to cut off on the popping.
The question will be, what is the easiest way to do this without installing plates? Can I just plug the hose for now and see what happens?
Please keep in mind that I´m from Argentina and some parts are not usually available in the everyday market. I will also appreciate any pics, links or tutorials that you can provide. Here is all a ¨do it yourself¨ thing...
