I am running SV650 risers and its very close to the tank, in fact so close my heated grips on the throttle side need removing and re-positioning as turning the bars all the way to the right engages the throttle. Much better riding position though, im awaiting to fit my gilles rearsets so hoping...

I did!! Took some doing though. Sat the end of the pipe in boiling water for a min.or two first then beasted it on, you need to push and turn at the same time.

I know this is an old thread but I have just done this mod! I have no issues clearing the tank, however I run hot grips and on the throttle side the way I have installed the grip on full lock it catches the wire and makes the throttle open. Easy fix, just got to get the grip off and re position...

The exhaust is so loud even with the baffle in, every time i let of the throttle it wouldnt stop popping. Just thought it would be a matter of time before the police pulled me! It still pops occasionally if i give it a fist full. :angel:
