First ride of the year and first ride on the -08 FZ1. Still pretty cold, 10degC, and lots of gravel still on the roads, but it was a nice ride. Keeping the revs under 6000rpm of course. Only diff from the -06 is that the snatchy throttle response is gone. The new Rizoma fatbar felt perfect.

Don't be hard on me because this is my very first try with on-board cameras. It's a cheap Creative Vado mounted on the tank. The mount is just a neodym magnet with a plastic bracket screwed on, the camera is strapped on that with rubber bands. I think next I will make a bracket and bolt it on...

Has anyone tried adjusting the rear ride height? Either by a different length shock, or by changing the linkage "dogbones". I was thinking that it might quicken the steering a bit and you gain some ground clearance too.
