Yea I called the DMV and asked about it. Apparently all you need are the pics after the crash and the Certificate of Destruction fill out two forms and there will be some one from the DMV that comes out and inspects the bike ($40) to make sure that its all street legal, like turning signals...
Almost Finished!
Hey all. Got her running good now. Just need the clutch and throttle cables to ride. Called the DMV and I have to file a couple of forms and have some 1 from the DMV come out and check out the bike and I will be able to ride it on the streets legally with a rebuild title. So...
Got her str8!
Saweeet! Got her a bit str8r now but dont think 100%, pretty damn close though and im actually able to lock the steering witch I wasn't able to do before. Only thing is that it did come down a lil bit on the shocks. Any trick on how to get it back up and ideal location to do it...
Sweet guys. I will deff do that then. So basically I just loosen the bolts a lil bit. Line it up by eye as much as I can and then bolt it back up? Because I really dont think the forks are bent at all. Thanks a lot M8! :shine:
Hey guys! Finally got her running now. Took her for a short ride and its not driving straight at all. I have no idea what could be bent. Its really hard to tell but the only thing i can think of is the top and bottom of the TT that are holding the shocks in place. Also on the front wheel fender...
Got her running!
Took the pump out and it was just not pushed in all the way. Pushed it back into place and now i got her purring real good  Now only thing I need is throttle, clutch cable and a fresh oil change and I should be able to :sport12:
Thanks m8, I think I will soon enough, I got an airbox with a well done mod on it. So now all I need is the clutch/throttle cable and a fuel pump.
Found Problem.
First off, I want to thank Eric for coming out and helping me find the problem. Amazing guy, if it wasn't for him I would still be :cuss: trying to find the problem. Fuel pump is at fault, its not pressurizing the system at all even though its priming. :disapproval: Also the...
Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but just wondering if anyone knows what the plastics ends on the lines are for? and if i need them to do this mod because i see that other people are. I think it might be the reason why my bike is not starting :disapproval: its not connected all the...
ok cool ill check that and see but i dont smell any raw fuel at all... Also Even though i can move the clutch lever at the engine it doesnt appear to be working because when i put it in first gear and push that lever the bike wont move... Im guessing the plates are stuck after sitting so long ...
The clutch lever on the engine does move when i pull the clutch. But if it had to do anything with the switches would it still try to crank like that? I remember when my kick stand was down on my R6 and try to start, it would not try to crank at all like this. Im gonna try and pull the plugs but...
Yea, as you will see in the video, i got an aftermarket clutch lever on there the switch and everything was destroyed leaving the wires exposed. I guess im gonna need to buy all new stuff on that side. :doh2: Any tricks on how you guys get to the plugs lol it looks to me like there would be no...
Im glad you asked about the clutch. Because it doesnt seem to be working. :shame: Im actually pushing the clutch lever on the right side of the bike on the engine and its not doing anything. Im not sure if the plates are stuck or something from sitting so long but not working at all. Also where...
