Hello fellow FZ owners Name's Audie. Just joined today and already I am impressed with the site. Got lots of help on my first day...what a change from other forums. Own an '08 FZ1 (see my avatar), which I LOVE. Just a few bolt on goodies, nothing serious. Don't plan on doing much more to it...

Maybe not such a dumb-ass after all So I found the root of my confusion on this. Turns out the headlight won't come on until the bike is started, but if you shut the engine off using the kill switch the headlight stays on until you turn the key off. I guess I never looked when I started the...

Omfg!!!! Serious case of cranial rectal inversion guys....DUH!!!! Boy do I feel like a dumb-ass. Guess I'll have to pay more attention from now on.

Goin out to check now...if this is the problem I'm gonna feel like a total idiot. lol.

It's an '08, but I could've sworn the lights came on when the key was turned ON. I'll go check it out.

New to the forum, this is my first post. Yesterday I decided to install the HID conversion I've had laying around for some time now. When I got done I turned on the key and no headlight. I reconnected the original headlights and still nothing. Checked the fuse - good. Both Hi/Lo don't work...
