    ebay chineses stuff has come a long way. It is amazing how much you can save but then if you consider selling that stuff, you kinda lose the same amount vs/ buying branded stuff.

    Yep! I have since switched the Proton Signals front and back and disconnected the signal brake function.

    Gen2 with touring panniers will not tip beyond 495 lbs. It is 485 lbs wet. From my guess the cases and racks add at most 10 lbs. I have V35s

    You can attach the aluminum using some non-conducting high heat resistant rubber pads directly to the case or over your heat shield.
