Hey Mate, try those. I use them on my 6R. You will need a LED relay with those... they have few different model. Check it out!
Black Anodized Teardrop Housings with Amber LEDs
What is the distance between the 2 bolts fully extended? Might be interested if it fit the 6R.
Also give me the diameter of the spring... I'll measure mine.
Thanks
Marthy
Part of the handling issue is the weight distribution. 125cc kart with a liter engine is quite different. That thing should have been much faster in straight line acceleration I think.
But that cool anyway...
If you bough the PCV specific to your bike and still run the stock sprocket ratio you should be fine.
It's been a while...
First you need to put your bike on stand. (Rear wheel off the ground)
Configure > Speed = Set speed (ex. 40 MPH) then start the bike and put the bike in gear (side stand...
In my book if someone hit hard and run to call the cops, this is self defense. But if someone A keep beating on someone B or/and C just to make an example (live or die) this is abusing power.
Beast gave me a good hand on "how to work with those tool" (PLX MAP sensor and the LCD-200/Dataloger)
It's not as bad as it sound. It took me about 1 week of moderate riding to tune my Sport map. I could have done it in one weekend if I wanted to. I'm pretty much done with the Touring map...
It keep the heat inside the headers. The exhaust gas stays hot longer. Hot gas travel faster and is less restrictive... then scavenge the exhaust better, improve overlap effect... few more ponies... if any?
I second everything Beast said. He help me a lot with the LCD-200 and how t use it. There's no way I can imagine myself tuning a bike without this tool now. PCV, PLX MAP sensor goes together in my book. The Autotune and LCD-200 are amazing tuning tool and will recommend it to anyone who is...
I'm taking the plunge... Just finish to build another 6R exhaust and I will ship early next week, need to clean her up a bit first. (sandblast) I'll post pic later...
Thanks for the tip!
Honda worked hard this year... Yammy is going to have to step up there game. And yep, that old school CB1100 look great! So many bikes... so little $$$ :(
Because it was one of those Saturday afternoon where I stop by the stealershio with my wife just to show her he bike (went to get a battery for one of my boss bike) I had to act fast before she change her mind... lol Budget were a little tight... so I couldn't pull the plug on a FZ1...
The 6R end up to be a very nice everyday machine. It got juice right at 4K all the way to 12K (limit at 12500) It's a fun bike to ride... and still get in the mid 40 MPG. (need to confirm that on my next long ride... with the latest tune)
That was the last run when I went on the dyno early this year. On that run the engine temp were 210F or so...
78HP @ 10200 RPM & 43 ft.lb @ 8400 RPM
But you can see on the graph the big dip from 5-8K. It's all fix now!!! :woot:
Not quite sure. I gotta be getting close to a bone stock FZ6. All I can say is with the front end drop 1/2" and the rear spring crank at the way to 7 (rode with the wife and forgot/lasy to put it back to 5) I can't keep the front end down in 1st gear. I'll try to make it to the dyno at bike...
When I decide to go all in and start building my own exhaust for the FZ6R I got myself the PCV and the AutoTune. It wasn't too hard to convince myself that spending the extra $$$ to get the AT and be able to fine tune my bike for my custom exhaust would be a better option than running it on the...
