Goodridge brake lines. Today I orderd a set front and rear Goodridge racing stainless braided brake lines with stainless steel ends and clear plastic outer tube. My 07 SV FAZER has original brake brake lines and are alittle spongy at 200kms/hour.

Hi decoen, abit of oil residue is normal and comes from the crankcase breather pipe into the air box. Ive been in there 3 times on my 07 Fazer to fit K&N, Ivans Flies and YEC AIS Plug Set. My intake area was no different in residue than your FZ1 looks but maybe your oil is alittle high.:tup:

Hi thepopularjock, Toluene is also an octane booster something like 104 OCTANE BOOST you buy and put in the gas tank if your trying your bike on a Drag Strip. Maybe like 20 or 50mls per litre of gas?

Id spend the money and go for the 09 which is a good year for FZ1. The bike sounds near new with those miles on it.:tup:

Hi johnnyontherocks, I love carbonfiber too and the Powerbronze stuff is realy nice for all FZ1 bikes. My midrange seakers in my living room are carbonfiber as well as my GYTR slipon.

Hi lat41, thats a nice looking sreen, almost identical in shape to my Yamaha Touring screen but has no tint. I found at speed my touring screen works like a front spoiler giving better stability, no wind on my chest and only alittle buffeting on the helmet. Does the tint give a problem at night...

I have seen some FZ1 S bikes in the US converted to naked bikes and believe US didnt get any choice with S and N models only getting S models. We got both here in NZ but they both take ages to sell at bike shops. The N looks more like a mean streetfighter than an S and thats the look alot of US...
