Our NZ dollar was floated in 1985 and this week it hit an alltime high of $NZ= US 82.5c. We dont have companys here that make nice things for FZ1 and must buy overseas products mainly from the States were you have great mods and can buy local. Other great products to come out of the States are Velodyne home subwoofers and Audioquest HI FI cableing.

My wife has a friend in Melbourne who keeps sending her money to buy clothes here in the US and send them over to her. Even with shipping it is far cheaper to shop in the US via the internet than trying to do it in Australia which have high prices and relatively poor selection.

Hi Phil RC 1, Ive never been in the closet but its great to hear from someone who is into FZ1 and HI FI. My TT500F was same vintage as your IT250, after 30 years I sold it for NZ$4500 [mint with mods] to buy my brand new 07 SV Fazer in 09.:tup:
