I think my problem is that the levers that were on the bike when I bought it were all ready aftermarket levers so its not the original spacer. I sent them a few pics of the lever and the spacer so I'm hoping that they will just send me something that works. Otherwise I will have to look around...
Yeah Billy,I tried that. The bushing or spacer whatever you call it..is still to small. Even with that in the new lever and all installed there is still a lot of play in the lever. The entire set up moves way to much before the clutch cable even starts to move.
Congrats!!! That is a serious accomplishment! Now hopefully that will add a few more zero's to your annual salary and I don't mean in the pennies place either. :D All your hard work will pay off for you. Congrats again!!!!
I finally got mine in today. The brake side fit perfectly. On the other hand..the clutch side I'm having issues with. The pin that holds the lever in place is to small as far as the diameter. The set that was on the bike had a small sleeve in it to take up the extra space and make the pin fit...
I have the Drift HD170. I absolutely love this camera. It's less bulky than the GoPro and as really good video quality. I use mine with the external mic that I have set up inside my helmet. Although I have not used a GoPro,I think if I ever have to get another camera it will be another Drift.
Well...I ordered a pair of those pants that VA_Rider linked. I will give you guys a review of them when I get them. Sure hope I didn't just blow 160 bux on a junk pair of pants.
Just for General riding purposes. Just want to have more protection than just a regular pair of jeans. I can't see buying leather with slider pucks. I have no intention on trying to drag knees. Just want to keep all the skin where it belongs if I happen to go down.
Well..mine came naturally. I am from Rhode Island and The Grinch is my favorite story character. I am also not a fan of the x-mas season so around that time my family always calls me the Grinch.
Thanks Billy...nice to see at least 1 person reply. I have considered those. I wasn't sure how good they really are. I want to be safe but I don't want to break the bank either.
Ok I need some opinions on what riding pants to buy. I bought a pair of generic overpants from JafrumDotCom a few months back and they are falling apart. They were cheap and I needed something other than just regular jeans. I know you get what you pay for which is why for $50 bux,I am not...
That is nothing!! I will try to get some pics of the Wharf rats we have here. They get close to about 30lbs or so. That's no stretch of the truth either. I have actually seen one chase a dog off the docks where they live. A buddy of mine used to work at the restaurant where they live and he...
I'd have to agree with BigDave. I would look into the valves if it sounds like it's the top end. They are probably ready to be adjusted. As far as the cam chain,it has an "automatic" tension adjuster. This could also be checked once you get the valve covers off to do the valve work. I'll look...
Man you don't know how happy I am to read this post. I ordered a set of these a month ago. After some issues with Paypal putting a hold on my account for no reason at all,I finally got an email from RideItMoto that my funds were released and my order is on its way. When I first saw the title of...
apparently I need more coffee...Put my LED post in the wrong thread..Someone wanna move this to What did you do to your FZ1 today for me please. Oh yeah...you can delete this post too.
Congrats Billy!!! I'm glad to see your baby is coming home with a clean bill of health..haha!! Now to just button up those few things you have left then it's time to go lay down some rubber!!! :sport12:
