I do about 10-15 Track days a year (depends on weather, I hate rain). Though I HAVE taken the FZ1 to the track (had fun at Mid Ohio once on it), I normally use a CBR600RR for Track Days, and use the FZ1 for two-up rides with the wife. I find the 600 a much more rewarding ride on the track...

I called Sportbiketracktime and verified there were spots still available at Putnam for 20th and 21st. Didn't save spots because of the funny weather we're having. Going to wait until the first of that week. May fill up, but if its raining those days.......well, I would be wasting those fees...

Camping would definitely be safer (equipment-loss-wise) than the hotel route. I will have to check into who offers that option. Plus.....no driving in the morning :tup:

Yes, that's exactly what they look like, thank you. I thought they looked like too much heat was generated, but if its not an issue on the street, I won't worry about it. If anybody knows whether these are safe or would pass inspection for another Track Day, please let me know
