UPdate I took the forks off dumped the oil out of both and cleaned them. The fork seal that was leaking was UPSIDE DOWN. So with the new seal, two new dust seals no more leaks. I also put on Conti Sportattack tires. The only thing that I did not as the manual was I used 5w oil. I had read...

I have a fork seal that is leaking only when the fork moves. It leaves a film on the inner tube. It is only few months old seal. Any ideas on how to fix it with out putting in new one in. I dont think the person who did it knew what he was doing and took shortcuts. I have not sure he did not...

I got a Joe Rocket on Ebay for 25 shipped. It is yellow not my fav. but think it has kept me from getting smacked in traffic a couple times in Dallas traffic.

I got a set of the sport attack waiting for the contimotion to wear out. I got them cheap.. Hope i can get close to the miles out of them as the road attacks seem to be getting. the motions have 4500 on them and are close to wear marks. I am kinda hard on the rear.

4500 miles on them and so far i can not complain. You can push the tire past its expectation. It is not a "sport tire" and will get slimmy if gets to hot due to not enough air. I have a new set of sportattack waiting in garage when these wear out. I have ridden hwy, back roads, two up...

it would be great to get a ride going. There are seveal people i work with who ride. They dont ride the FZ (poor guys) been trying to convert them. but the more the better. :deadhorse:
