Just turn your bars down - you will be surprised how much better the bike feels - first loosen up the throttle, clutch and front brake - then turn the bar down - check it at full lock and make sure its 1/4in from the tank and your set - looks cooler and puts you in a slightly more stretched out...
you'll have to get some pics of the "motherland" up in your albumn so I can drool over the great places in Oz.
Yeah, the phantoms are pretty cool - nearly as cool as an F1-11...
Scotty,
g'day from the other side of the pond. Check out my albumn you might see some familiar sights if youve spent in time in Vic.
If not there are some great roads (that I sure do miss) in the Licola/Dargo area - actually anywhere in the Vic Alps.
Enjoy the bike and have a VB for me!..
thanks for the pics and info I have been going back and forth and not been able to make a decision on the ZG Touring, ZG Double bubble or a MRA Vario - the touring screen looks good (your the 1st person I have seen post a side on shot)
I guess I am going to follow your lead and go for the ZG...
if you want a quiet, good helmet at a a decent price find a new Shoei TZR - by far one of the quietest helmets on the mkt at a good price..if you dont like, that look for any helmet that does not have pockets for the visor to move in (look at Shoeis and Arai's visor set up) these pockets are...

if you like reliability buy the F-z

Mr H - yep I am over near Neosho - perhaps I should meet you over in Branson or close there and we can then shoot down 65 to 23 then back up 23 to Eureka - either way I am game for Feb when the roads improve.
thanks for the welcome - I'm just "Mr. Average" - 38 yrs old - wife and 4 kids, and a mortgage :) love riding bikes - been riding since I was a kid, had a few different bikes over the years - but dont consider my self an exceptionally fast or talented rider - like playing it safe - dont see the...
well Mr Hix - i am in for a ride anytime you can make it - I would probably split on you after day 1 though (although I understand you wanting to spend the night as St Louis to Mulberry is a long haul) - I get real busy in spring because of my job so late feb (or earlier)would work for me if it...
