Avon Storm
I just bought a new one for my ride. Have not even put it on yet. Now after reading this, I kinda wish I had gone with Michelins. I got it at such a great price I thought I was doing the right thing!:o
Patch
I think you will probably not find a dealer that will patch it. I had the same thing happen to me a couple of months ago on my 79 XS11 Standard. This was a tire with less than 200 miles on it and I had to replace it. I probably could have put a tube in it but I did not want to take the...
Why the FZ1?
I have a friend in Mississippi that collects all sorts of motorcycles and the first time I saw the 2003 FZ1, I fell in love with this machine. I have been looking for one in my area for a while and finally found one that was reasonably close and bought it. I have only rode it a...
Hi
Hello to all!
I have already posted a couple of times here but seen this thread and figured I would make it official.
My name is Dale and I am 56 years old and have been riding for many of the 56 years. I have owned several motorcycles ranging from 250 cc to 1100 cc and currently own 4...
Since this is a "General Discussion Forum" , here is a general question for those who may have gone up against a Bandit 1200.
Which one should win a quarter mile race?
2003 FZ1 completely stock against 2001 Bandit with Yoshimura slip on??
Hypothetically speaking of course!
You sure you want me to weed you're strawberries? My eye's aren't what they used to be. Thanks for the information , I deal quite a bit from Bike Bandit for parts for my 4 XS1100's.
Thank you very much. My tool kit is non existent!! I wonder if Yamaha still sells this or if someone can tell me the contents, I can build my own.
Once agian thanks. I never thought to check the helmet lock! duh!! More stupid questions to come, I promise!!
I told ya'll I was going to ask some dumb questions.. Can someone tell me how to remove the seat on the 2003 FZ1? I don't have a manual yet and want to have a look. Also, is there a tool kit on this machine somewhere?
More?
Yep.. There is one more I am in the process of restoring. It is down to the frame and ready to blast and powder coat. I have all of the parts for the rebuild and I have already painted the tank and side covers. The engine is on the stand and I am going to go thru it and rebuild the...
Oldies
There is a fun in restoring the old machines. I recommend it highly. I am currentlly enlarging my shop to enable me to add more to the collection. I want to find a 6 cylinder Honda CBR, Kawasaki KZ1300 and a 7o's Kawasaki 750 to add to my stable. Wish me luck and thanks for the replies!!
