What did you do to your FZ today?

Well as promised here are some pics of the Copperdog seat cowl. It's a little difficult to put on and take off, but once on it fits like a glove ;)

I think it really finishes off the bike perfectly. Looks awesome. But...hey...whats that white stuff on the floor over there??? You guys had that much snow?! We got nothing yet that stayed more than a day.

Thanks...ever since I saw it on Eric's bike I've been wanting one, but I wasn't going to buy it new. Good deal came along and I pulled the trigger on it.

I guess they piled the snow on there when they cleared off the parking lot and it doesn't get much sun. It was actually slushy when I stepped on it so with the temperatures we've been having lately I doubt it will be around for much longer.

Chopped the jardine 4 inches, slapped it back on then worked on the chain and other general maintenance.

Those reds look amazing! A red FZ1 on my everyday commute on my FZ6 is what made me fall in love with the FZ1s. Full fairings and that seat cowl just finishes off a great sport tourer. But those football sock signals gotta go ..

Looks good, gota agree about the turn signals though or is it just the camera that makes the front look SO big? Also what type of seat is that? Looks comfy!

Yea, it's a Corbin. Main issue is that with the full fairings anything other than the stock turn signals are a hassle. They need to be removed every time you're going to remove the fairings for service. I put the clear lenses on them to give them a more "updated" look, but I have no plans to replace them...

FZ1 today . . .

:shaking head: ohh, my , , , Time to ride !! I pulled the cover off the FZ and checked the fluids and the tire pressure but, it was only 36 degrees on the clock. Too cold. So, I delivered the box to FedEx in my pickup truck with the heater on. Back by 11:50 I warm up the fizzer, and got dressed for the ride to Bdazzler's back yard. I planned on going to Marshall, Ill. and stopping for coffee at the DQ Brazier and, calling Troy. I wanted him to get some rest and to sleep as long as he could.
The problem. I got soooo COLD . . ..! Dang. I got so cold, I pulled off the Interstate at the Terre Haute exit. The temp on the sign read . . 44 cold degrees and the wind is howling and the sun is hiding behind the clouds. Brrrrr . . . .. . stiff and cold, I hi-tailed it for home and took a nice hot bath, just to warm up some . . . . . I got to ride today, warmed up the oil some, but, dang, it was cold.

Thanks for the attempt. I slept longer than I intended, but I feel better now. It just didn't get as warm as early as I expected today. I thought about taking a quick ride myself, but I wimped out and ran out of time :( Tomorrow is calling for rain and I have many errands to do, so I don't think I'll make it out on "the Beast" then either. Who knows? If the rain holds off and it hits 60 as is predicted, I may just blow off some errands and ride. If weather.com is correct on it's hourly forecast, I may just sneak in some 2 wheeled time tomorrow. :) Unfortunately, my errands take me north to Champaign instead of east toward pilot8127. We'll get that Moonshine burger one of these days! Glad you got warmed up. Good to talk to you via phone at least.

Just did some pricing on a Corbin. From Corbin US 259, from Australian Distributor Aud $360 plus $25 shipping! Australian retailers wonder why we go to the web for deals! They would get $100 for squat. Unfortunatley as they have an Australian distributor I have to use them.
