Anyone know how to easily remove a decal? The one I put on the front guard did not take on one spot. Gotta make it right!

Best way to remove a decal is a heat gun set to low. Carefully peel the decal off without burning your fingers. Then use a little "Goo Gone" to remove any glue that didn't come off with the decal. However the decal will usually not be reusable.

No me either it was on the bike when i purchased it sets the bike off i think

And if you don't have a heat gun a blow dryer will do for something like that decal. Also WD-40 can be used to remove any glue residue. It's safe on paint and everybody usually has a can laying around.

28000 miles
My bike has 28,000 miles on it It has a rather large dent in the tank but I have already purchased a used tank from E-Bay and its in the process of getting painted.

More than likely will go with a retro kit before spring gets here. Mirrors and hand grips are going away soon. Installed TBR juicebox and did the airbox and fly mods. Runs great real strong midrange punch. I like it !!!

Nice looking bike!
If you don't have the retro kit yet and are seriously considering it then you should get it sooner rather than later. It has been discontinued by Yamaha so the only ones out there are the ones left in the supply chain and they'll eventually be gone. Most got sold late last year when Yamaha slashed the price by almost half!

Yea, I've been watching that one. Hutchins Motorsports had one for $599.00 with free shipping I was flip flopping on deciding what to do and I waited too long it must have been their last. Oh well, looks like I will have to bite the bullet. Of course $675.00 for everything you get is quite a good deal.

My new 2009
Just picked up this sweet ride from a dealer. Had it in his new inventory with only 5 miles on it. Just took off the trailer hitch off of the back and it looks way better now.

NJFZ1 is correct. Bought it off of ebay. I didn't get the one with lights, so it was only $24.95 with free shipping. I think it looks great.

The paint has some flaws I might be able to have them fixed, I agree the color is pretty sharp looking. It also changes in the light.

If its got FZ 1 cut out, you can put a reflector on the inside. I did it to mine rekon it looks pretty good.
