RZ 350 Kenny Roberts Edition

I agree with you Billy. Those are nice, just right. Not too long on the stalk and the factory look too. Those won't sag!

Well Gary if you want some for yourself this is where I got them:

NEW! Smoke Amber Motorcycle Turn Signals Pair Yamaha XVS 650,V Star | eBay

Just send a message to the seller and tell him you want two set instead of one. He'll also give you a break on the shipping charges. I think they would look good on your bike since the smoked lenses would go well with the black.

Big prices

Hi Tony, yes I did ! OVER 10K and still climbing with 3-days left in the auction . The 'other' RZ350 brought $4550.00 (not all original) and the little TZ250R is already above --8K. !! :wow:

The 2-strokes are commanding a premium price these days. . . . . maybe I should sell mine and cash in on the gold-rush ??? heh,heh :sinister:

The RZ today

Cleaned and buffed on the painted parts today. I cleaned and oiled the gas-cap and cleaned on the inside of the tank today too. I didn't get the outside of the tank done though. I found two cracks in the chin cowl while I was cleaning them up. Some 5-min. epoxy and two layers of fiberglass matt and the repairs are complete. After many hours of washing, drying, applying the 3M rubbing compound, then the 3M cleaner/wax to the yellow plastic/painted parts and panels it was time to quit for the day !
Here are some before/after pics.
Note the cleaner/wax on the R-side panel. After buffing, the reflection of the window and the overhead lights can be seen in the pic!

The rubbing and buffing sure brought the shine back on some of the dirtier, more soiled pieces. Overall, it's looking a little bit better each day.

Looking great Gary. Those stress cracks are pretty common, especially on the chin cowls from what I have seen. Your repair will keep the cracks in check that's for sure ;)

Hi Tony, yeah, I've repaired both ABS and LWFG (lightweight fiberglass) with this particular epoxy/glass mat method and it's incredibly strong and permanent.

I was pleasantly surprised that only 2-cracks were found, being this is a high frequency, high pitched, 2-stroke, smokin, replica racer . .! Also, the plastic parts seem a bit thin to me too !

Yea, it's hard to find one that doesn't have any stress cracks unless it hasn't been ridden like that one on eBay with the 5 miles...lol

By the way you see the price of it! Auction is almost over and it's over $11k :eek5:
