hi im zion, new member to this forum, im from south america, so i speak spanish, sorry my bad eanglish, soon I have a fz1 2012 pearl white abs, now is backorderer so I have to wait for it ):
im 26 year old, this is my third bike, previously i owned a versys and a Z 1000 2010..and for off road use i have a klx 250 that i will change in a few months for a 450.

Hi i am kyle and im from wisconsin, I have been riding on motorized bikes since i was 7 and have always loved it. my first street leagal motorcycle that I owned was my recently aquired fz1. i have always ridden friends bikes up untill now and i am psyced to finally have my own. i love riding bmx any chance i get but having two kids 3 and 1 and one on the way doesnt give me much time. at least when the weather is nice i can ride my fz to work!
 
Hi, my name is Cameron. Im 23 and live in China Grove, NC. Im the lead fabricator/welder at a company called DesignLine USA. I'm a total car guy and am starting to get into bikes as well. I also own a 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT4 with an MS1K tune and full bolt ons making 350 whp. Still have plans for a bigger turbo and MAP/TIP clamp with adjustable wastegate actuator and larger fuel injectors. Shooting for 420 whp!

I just bought my 2010 FZ1 NEW with zero miles from Ride Now in Concord, NC on 2/7/12. It has the 50th anniversary body kit which I am totally in love with. I love the pearl white paint. It really stands out from the typical reds/ blues/ blacks that a lot of bikes are painted. This is my first bike. Was planning on buying a used GSXR 750 but at 6'3", the frames are just too small. Plus, since this bike sat in the dealership for over a year, i got it for the same price i could have gotten a used 06+/- GSXR for.

Plans for the bike are pretty basic. I want to replace the tail light with one with integrated turn signals, flush mount front turn signals, (if someone could make a recommendation for me with these two, it would be greatly appreciated), deleting the rear plastic tag bracket, tinted wind screen, frame sliders, and maybe some performance mods later on.

Hope to learn a lot here and maybe find some local owners as well.

Welcome to the family Cameron. You are definitely surrounded by some seriously crafty people here. I'm pretty sure there isn't any question about the FZ1 that can't be answered here. Enjoy the Fz...It's a great bike!
