I'm Dave and have recently picked up a bone stock '07 FZ1. I have been riding for a few years and also have a '06 CBR 600 F4i however I haven't used the F4i much since the FZ1... I live in Newfoundland and usually always ride with my heated grips turned on due to the cold...

New here from Oregon

Hi everyone,
Just pickped up my first 2009 FZ1 a few weeks ago. Brand new only 5 miles on the clock when I got it. I'm replacing my 2002 1200 Suzuki Bandit. The new bike might be a smaller displacement, but has it has more power. Love the bike so far.

I look forward to using this site and maybe hooking up with some fellow riders in my area (Eugene Or). Sorry about the picture, taken with my phone.View attachment 8520

:welcome: Glad to have you here. Love the faster Blue (mine's an '07). Get some sliders on her and I'm sure you'll want to look into a seat upgrade (I like the Corbin, but many like Sargent or Top Sellerie) Everything else is optional :smokin2:

I spent a few months in Northern Cal/Southern OR (Klamath Forrest). I about crapped my pants when the gas station attendant ran out and told me I couldn't pump my own gas (I've done it my whole life!) LOL

I love that area. Very beautiful and should have some fun mountain roads. I didn't get to ride while I was there. I looked for Spotted Owls for the forest service. I spent some time in Happy Camp, CA and I've been to Eugene, OR a few times. I have a friend who lived in Phoenix, OR for a while. I don't know where he is now. Love the cheese in Tillamook, OR.

Making changes

Yeah, I plan on taking off the trailer hitch mounted on the back and changing the lights first. I need to reseach what other mods are being done to these awesome bikes.

Hi everyone.
I have been a member of the forum for a few months and waited to post until I got a bike.
I just bought a 2008 with 1 mile on it.
I don't get it home till spring because I wanted to ride it home not trailer it.

new member

Hi Guys just bought a 2006 FZ1 yesterday red & black with Givi top box and panniers to add to my collection which includes a 2003 XJR1300, 2009 CB 400 and my little commutor which is a GPX 250, I got the FZ because we do a lot of long trips and the XJR has now got 102,000kms on her and I want to do some fancy work on her but still need something to ride, she will still be OK for another 100,000 as she is as she is regularly maintained, I live in Melbourne Australia and ride pretty much everyday . just spent today surfing for bits for the fz eg Yoshi pipe, tail tidy. oggy knobs, and numerous other things.those are just the things I bought today
well that will do might see some guys out and about
Cheers Keefer

New owner of " thecca " s 03 Bumblebee

Hello everyone,

My name is Len and I am the new owner of an 03 bumblebee and a new member to this forum. I'm 54 years old and own a shop here in Ottawa Ontario, Canada called Lentech Motorsports, not far from another member Pascal [thecca] whom I purchased it from. I have owned bikes since 12 years old and worked professionally as a licenced motorcycle tech in the mid 80's. Some of you that are Ford mustang enthusists may have heard of Lentech before as a automatic transmission specialist.....Same guy! I have already began working on the bike and as a shop owner that is equipted with a dyno I hope to share some performance changes I make along the way in hopes to help others as much as I'm sure this forum will be a termendous resource for my own ride!

Cheers,

Len
