Wonder if that tail is the same as the euro FZ1N and if it would fit the us model

I was eyeing that tail as well along with the headlight assembly.

Is there anything I can check for you on my Fazer 8 and compare it to my friends '08 FZ1? I can tell you that the passenger seats will not interchange.

I am thinking of the entire tail section, as in, everything that attaches to the sub-frame... the plastics, tail light and undertail. Of course, the seats would have to come with it. But, I'm looking at the seats and thinking that the Top Saddlery seat cover and stuffing would staple to that seat pan without any trouble.
So, I guess the question really is, is the sub-frame the same but that wouldn't be easy to determine without a side-by-side tear-down.

I'm thinking headlight assembly should be a bolt on. I see a "naked" FZ1 in your future

Ya I should go to my dealer this week and see what the price for the rear section would be.
