Yamaha FZ1

gearing says you can go faster than that , but power to weight , wind resistance , altitude, temp, humidity, and tuning all plays factors in top speed .So the fz1 will not hit 12,000 rpm's in 6th gear.so either change to a 16 tooth front sprocket and have fun,or up the horsepower and loose weight from the bike or yourself and go for higher speeds , remember that the factory speedo has 5% error factory so say your speedo says 150 you actually going approx. 142.5 mph.have fun and keep us posted on those top speeds:eek:
