Yamaha (FZ1) Factory is where?

I was just wondering if any one knows where the FZ1 is built?
I've googled it and looked thru various Yamaha sites and can't find anything on it.

The best place to find where your bike is built is on your bike itself. They have the sticker on the frame which tells you where the bike was manufactured. My R6 & FZ1 were built in Japan

Made in Japan is what they all should say.

Yea, the first digit of the serial number indicates where it was built. It should start with a J for Japan.

They are assembled at the ASTI Factory in Iwata, Japan.

Boy don'cha know, someday we'll all be saying "remember when the GOOD stuff came from Japan. Now with China, Mexico and who knows where, mabe India, stuff is rolling out from whoever has the cheapest labor force. Kind'a scarry really!!!
