Hi Fellow FZ Owners,

I Bought a set of E41 Bags for my Gen II. Now I need the mounting system to mount them to my FZ. I also would like to find the a system for a top box I would prefer the Sw Motech quick remove system. Damaged or bent is ok as I can straighten/repair them.

Thanks,
Brian

P.s. Also Looking for a softer drivers seat and I have a pair of stock handlebars I can trade or sell.

Thanks for the reply...... I can do that. I just don't know which componants I need to attach the E41 to the brackets that I can build if I need to. It would help If I knew someone local that had one I could look at. Any idea's or do you know which componants my bags take?

I'm trying to save money and get my bike more usable with bags to haul stuff. My wife and I adopted 6 kids, there special needs are proving to need alot of $. We love them and are glad to do it, just makes the rest of are lives tight

Z124 & Z125 2 of each. Those are the latch (1 per side) and pins (2 per side) All you need to do is measure your case and built a rack around it. Doesn't need to be that strong, those case are rated 5 lbs per side... let's make it 10lbs. I did mine with 5/16" steel rod that I got from Lowe's and just bend them... weld a flat bar on top and bottom then drill the holes for the mounts.

Here's few pics of the rack on my FZ6R just to give you an idea... I spend about $100.00 in material and $35.00 in powder coating. But I went over kill on the main post for the top case. I use it to carry my Pelican tool box when I work in Miami (45-50 lbs)

Thanks for the info. It is certainly within my ability to make mounting hardware. Having the mounting harware available is a nice bonus too. So if spring comes before I find any I will do that.

Spring is looking a bit off still at this time. My bike is in heated storage and I have 2 feet of snow on my property now with more to come this week.
