Purchased a 2006 with the Soupy lowering kit. Don't need it, and would prefer to use the original center stand. I know that many members have converted to one lowering link or another. Possibly a few would like to sell their originals.

Just PM me.

That should be the adjustable link, right? All i saw for the genII on his site. If so couldn't you adjust the link you have back to stock height? Plus you need to find out if the kickstand has been cut or if it's an aftermarket shorter stand. If you go back to stock height you may risk the bike falling over unless you go back to the stock kickstand. And still don't see where this would cause you not to be able to use your center stand. Mine is lowered with the same type of turnbuckle style link and i use my center stand all the time. It's a little harder to get it on the stand because it's picking the back wheel off the ground higher but it's no problem. Getting a bike on the center stand is all in technique, I'm a 145lbs rider and have no problem with mine or my brothers heavier vmax. If it is a link and shorter kickstand you may find someone here that wants to lower theirs and yall just swap links and kickstands.
