Hit a tree, tank is munched.
The bike has been sitting on the side stand, on solid ground under the magnolia tree, for 2 days without incident. Today, I decided to go to town for fuel and things changed.
While I was suiting up, a huge gust of wind pushed it up, off the side stand, and over to the right. The rear end of the gas tank hump went into the tree trunk.
Just bought the bike, paid cash dollars out of my limited pocket and it's going to be a stretch to replace the tank but I need one and Liquid Silver is the preferred choice. Be gentle.
What do you have?
Also, if there are no tanks; or no affordable tanks, does anyone have a tank cover that would cover the upper rear portion of the tank?
Any help or worthwhile suggestions greatly appreciated!
