Hey guys so im fairly new to the fz1 family and im getting used to it so far. Did few little things like flush mounts and intergraited taillight. Undertail kit and slip on gytr exhaust. Im getting alottttt of poping on decel and was told a PC would help me out soooo. Question is im running a stock air filter and just the slip on. What pc do I get and do I have to change the filter and if so to which one.

Did you block off the AIS system yet? If you haven't, that will cure most of the popping that your experiencing.

No I havint done the ais system yet I heard it is a little hard to do. Also im a big guy almost pushong 400lbs whats a good seat to get thats got alot of cushion

Well then don't go nuts with a PC. Don't believe what you heard cause blocking off the AIS is a very simple mod that should take you no time at all. I think I had posted the Copperdawg Video showing how to do it step by step. It doesn't cost anything either.

Both Corbin and Sargent make a seat for the GenII. They cost a pretty penny but I have heard by some that it's money well spent. I'm sure some GenII riders can help you out better with which one is more comfy.

even a pcIII or PCV won't cure the popping. Technically the popping was always there, you just couldn't hear it with all the stock exhaust. The ais system introduces fresh air into the exhaust so that fuel that didn't get burned in the cylinder can be burned off and make the exhaust cleaner. Even gas needs oxygen to burn, eliminate the oxygen supply and it can't burn. The easiest way to stop the biggest part of it is take the top off the air cleaner box. there is a hole on the left side of the filter, you can see the hose come off the bottom of the air box and go to the ais system on top of the head. fing a bolt or something that will just fit down in the hole, cover it with silicone and plug up the hole. that's where the ais gets the fresh air from. taking off the whole system is better for aesthetics but this will do it. it's still going to gurgle but the loud popping should be solved.

Awesome so I block the hose and do I block the hole in the box where the hose goes

What i done before i done the whole ais delete was used a plastic plug, left the hose attached to the bottom of the box, just plugged the hole in the hard plastic of the air box. heard some people gluing a penny over it. need it blocked off if you ever do the whole delete anyway

So just leave the hose attached and block off the hole in the box and HELLGATE what does that mean

yep. if you wanted to you could take the bottom of the airbox loose and put a plug in the hose and then you would still have to plug the hole in the box. Didn't see the need when i done mine as long as the plug fits tight. I was just looking for something quick till i had time to pull the radiator and put on the block off plates.
