What did you do to your Non-FZ1 motorcycle today.

I am officially registered for my first novice off road class. Time to get the DRZ dirty. Trust me. I need it.

I did not bother doing the upper radiator hose that is by the steering head. It will never be seen anyway and I am lazy.

Well, the last couple of weekends I spent running natural gas pipe, installed a new heater, and hot/cold water lines out to my garage for washing vehicles. I also installed a ceiling fan. Should have done it a long time ago! So much easier to maintain everything. Spent today servicing, cleaning, and detailing the bike and sled.

And a nice job at detailing you did! How's the heat in the garage??

Awesome! Installed a 30,000 BTU ventless wall heater. Without the ceiling fan it was pretty good (a little over 60) but now if its 15-20 deg or so outside it keeps the garage about 70. NICE. I usually just turn it on Friday night and shut it off Sunday evening.

Thanks Billy!
Here's another couple of pics.......I love Fords. We bought my wife a new Impala 2 years ago, BIG mistake. Looking at replacing it with a Ford Edge this fall.

The R1 is looking sharp!
I like the tank pad on your R1... Who makes that?

The case of Amsoil I ordered was finally delivered today so I finished my oil change. Also, I ordered carbon fiber frame and swingarm covers, coming from England in 3 weeks or so.

Ordered some Continental tires for the DRZ that lean more towards dirt than the OEM tires. Ratio is 40/60 - Street/Dirt. Also ordered radiator guards that I plan to get annodized.

I plan to get sized for some new bars over the weekend. The stock ones are two low for standing position for me.
