What did you do to your FZ today?

A little therapy ride

Rode 187 miles today to test the R6 shock. I got a bit of a later start than usual. When I saw the cloudy skies, I almost turned around before deciding to keep going until I reached the forecasted afternoon showers.

Got to the top of Blood Mountain only to discover cloudier skies.

I decided to ride back down and up again before heading over to Richard Russell. Much more traffic riding in the afternoon than in the mornings! I still had fun though and the r6 shock on the gen1 is amazing. I didn't scrape my boot once on Blood Mountain, usually I touch down at least twice in the tighter curves.

Glad I got a ride in before TS Lee gets to town. Here's my loop:

Next time I'll ride what I planned Blood Mountain (Us 129) to 180 to 17 to 76 to 197 then into Helen.

Well, 2 weeks ago rode with 4 supersports and spanked them, then laid it down in a parking lot the next Tuesday. :l taking fairing off today, bending out mounts and checking everything over 100% I haven't ridden it in a while.

Also rode to work last night, the weather conditions these days are perfect for making the gen 1 scary powerful! Taking full advantage of it ;)

It may be looking sweet noob, but that "quarter size" picture is not doing anything for us here!:nerd: Maybe a different link to a bigger shot?

Well today I just rode her hard and put her away wet!

Yesterday I gave her a sponge bath and then took her out for a little air dry, ya know.... let that fast hot summer air run all over her more exposed parts, and finished the hand (dry) job I gave her at the car wash after a 600 mile weekend ride. I put a freshly washed left boot to her shifter over and over again and after repetedly twisting that throddle spot until we we both screamed with......O wait Wrong forum :smoking:
No mods yet just a great ride on a fresh set of rubber. Gota love this ride.

Lower Cowl.

Ordered a lower cowl today for my 07 cobalt blue Fazer. Yamaha NZ want $850NZ here so I ordered on line at Commonwealth Powersports Petersburg VA US $459US + shipping. The bottom of the bike looks not finished off without one. There $390US at OC Yamaha but only sell inside the US.:waiting:

put a new set of 120/70 190/55 Michelin Pilot Road3 on and took the opportunity to mount the 90° angle airlet (or how do you call that little tube on the rim to inflate/deflate your tire)
