Took the bike for an early morning ride. Wanted to get out and home again before it got too hot.

Encountered Blanchy at one of the popular bike stops. Saw the new forks, brakes and cruise control. Looking' good mate.

Went for a ride with my Nephew, met Banzai while waiting (always wait for youngsters?). Love the new forks and their settings straight up. Brakes feel no different but plenty good enough for the road anyway. Forgot to take photos as I was enjoying the ride. Cruise worked well on the freeway section.

I finally got a ride in yesterday, but it was pretty brisk for me, mid 40's, without having any winter gear. Even layered up I was cold eventually. Got about 45 miles in.

I received these today :)

49T Driven Racing rear sprocket, it's huge lol.

Still waiting for my 17T genuine Yamaha front sprocket, there were none in Australia so hopefully it turns up soon.

I received my chain too, 130 links.

Took the day off work and did the Wisemans Ferry to Old road loop.

It was an awesome day for a ride with clear skies; little to no traffic, and best of all; no cops.

Here is a pic of my baby on the wharf at Spencer.

I put on a 47 tooth rear sprocket yesterday . Then on my short test drive i got a flat . The 47 sprocket fit with no problem with a 16 tooth front sprocket . It was about 35f out and i was freezing my ass off during the slow ride home !!

Finally got around to removing the wheels from the FZ1 this morning in order to remove the tires, bearings, and rotors, in order to get them over to the Powder Coater.
Ray came by and we adjusted his suspension a tad bit, raising the preload both front and back, and rotating his handlebars back a small bit as well. He was very happy with the changes.

Propped up on the stands with the paint can and rag as a failsafe.

All hardware bagged up and labeled

Rear wheel removed. Just need to pick up a quality T40 Torx Bit to remove the stubborn rotor bolts. I don't want to strip anything. I'll be replacing them all with new S.S. hardware.

She's locked up and covered once again. Next time I see her she'll have beautifully colored wheels and new rubber.

This is the color she will be sporting in just a few weeks.
