Hey all,
I'm a self-confessed cold-weather wimp. I only took the girl out a 2-3 times during the winter so she suffered in garage hibernation sipping on a battery tender most of the time. I'm finding that if the temperatures are below 50 degrees in the morning, I won't even think twice about taking the bike out. I'm sure that's part of getting older. Well, now that the morning temperatures are breaking that 50 degree mark, she's finally contributing to that daily commute again (only a 15-20 minute ride).
She's all dusted off and I wanted to show off some of the winter mods.
1. Krylon painted the inside of the stock windshield (black).
2. Added the OEM Yamaha Belly Pan
3. Replaced the stock Dunlop tires (even thought I barely had 800 miles on them) and replaced them with Michelin PR2's. I hated the way the Dunlops felt.
The MIVV Suono was added last fall.
