Using a Tablet as a Motorcycle GPS Part 2

We have just returned from vacation in Florida and we took a US tomtom for navigation. Soon found it a pain to use so I download Nokia HERE and the florida map onto my phone, set it to offline to avoid roaming charges and it found every location we needed. Excellent app and free too, I think the days of a dedicated sat nav are over.
 
Very timely. I just got a new Kindle Fire HDX 7 in today. The geek in me says it would be cool to use to navigate with. The cool guy in me says, "Don't be a dork!"
