updating turn signals

Im looking to get some newer style turn signals for my blue 2004 FZ1. The old ones date the bike a bit. What have you all put on your bikes? or what in your opinion looks nice on them?

Stock looks nice. The stock signals on all my old bikes look nice, and dated. Cause they are old and awesome.

If you want new, trade your bike in.

Edit: I got led's in my stock signals and a daytime running mod done by the p/o.

JB, Welcome to the site. Keep posting man. You've latched on to a great bike.

Don't want to be Donnie Downer but as far as turn signals go, I use stock and I wish they were bigger. Bunk and I are probably in the vast minority (and that's OK). My reasoning is simple, I want to be seen. Don't care if I'm seen as being butt ugly (I'm fine with reality), so long as I'm seen.

Plenty of flush and after market signals out there............. what ever you choose (we'll still like and respect you) find something people can see under all conditions. Don't hide your intentions. Lives depend on it.

On a related note it was 86 degrees yesterday in New England and the day before. Saw at least a handful of sport bike riders with shorts, flip flops, T-shirts and no helmets in Conn. They sure looked cool and comfortable.

Add another to the "like it stock" pile.
Helped a pal mount some LED turn signals on his bike and it just looks weird. Plus having to add the resistors to slow the rapid flashing was aggrivating also.

Back to the original question, what are some good aftermarket turn signals?

I bought a set of generic flush mounts for the front but they're made for newer Yamahas. The Gen I FZ cutout in the fairing is too big, so I left the rubber base of the stock turn signals installed and mounted the new signals on there. However they are poorly made and I can't see them lasting long outdoors. Light output is OK... not as bright as the giant stock signals but not terrible.

Hi I got motodynamic smoke led turn lites and tail lite they are nice better then stock for my motorbike

LED's in stock housings are a huge upgrade. Never forget, your at war with every moving object when riding. So cater your turnsignals to idiots who are not attentive.
