I have also seen small speakers that you wire to the turn signals and they make a loud ticking sound so you "hear" the signal as well. I would imagine at low speeds they can be easily heard...

The two LEDs work beautifully, visible in broad day light without me looking down, now I am confident using the signals whenever I need to & no way to forget them. it is very cheap to do compared to units made to cancel turn signals, I think its a great mod that I'll be using all the time, 100% useful.
when a car driver forgets the turn signal its just annoying but when a motorcyclist forgets the turn signal it becomes a very dangerous situation.
