Top secret brake light fuse

Hello,
I slammed rear tire into telephone pole. All lights work, but no brake light from front or rear switch. Changed brake, tail light bulb. Nothing. Manual doesn't list brake light fuse. I'm lost. Please help. Anybody?
 
I'd start by inspecting the wiring in the duck tail for damage...

After that, get into the wiring diagram and chase the supply to the switches.
 
Man, I suck at (and hate!) dealing with electrical stuff! I wish I had something constructive to contribute but you definitely have my empathy!

When I bought my bike, the front brake wouldn't light up the light, so I had to make sure I used the rear brake every time. Found out that the PO had literally cut one of the wires to the front switch. I did what is likely the worst soldering job ever to reconnect it... but it works!
