I am north of you, ride all year round, we don't have to deal with 1 bazillion degrees and dust storms in the summer like you do. Bawahaha!

If I did live in the snow country you can bet I would have some type of snowmobile for winter riding.

Cold... cold with black ice and heavy frost too many nights. The bikes have been plugged in and not run for almost a month now. Snow expected Sunday/Monday. FML man.....

I need to move a LOT further south! But the company keeps making it harder to leave.... which isn't a bad thing.

Commuted all week by bike. Can't tell you how many times I've been asked "aren't you cold on the bike?" this week. Morning temps are in low 30's. (that's 1-3 c, for you folks with normal measuring systems).

I just rode home tonight in this wet mess. My back was soaked and I wasn't wearing my jacket because it was so warm earlier when I left. Tell you what, I still won' get a car any time soon. Love it.

Maybe you could just get a fender.
The Gen I fender is pretty clunky looking. The Gen II is better.
They are useful.

My fender is sitting outside under my porch. It only rains 30 days out of the year here and only maybe 10 of those days are real rainy days. I love the look of my bike with the FE on it. Also I cut up the wiring for the lights so they would be a pain to swap out everything.

I just ordered a Tourmaster Transitions Series 3 jacket from my dealer, he hooked it up on the price so I should be good
